Rare Aged Rum

Crater Lake Spirits Aged Rum is part of our Rare Spirits collection, a selection of specialty releases and passion projects that are made in small batch releases. Distilled in St. Croix, this rum is aged in Bend, OR for 4+ years in new American white oak barrels. Ripe with notes of vanilla, caramel, and candied fruit, this is a spirit to savor.

Nose

Heavy vanilla and caramel notes.

Front

Light molasses, toffee, and candied fruit.

Finish

A lingering spice and turbinado sugar.

Black and Blueberry Sour

  • Lime Wedge to Garnish
  • 8-10 Blueberries infused with Crater Lake Rare Aged Rum** to Muddle
  • 1 oz Blackberry Syrup
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz Crater Lake Rare Aged Rum
Add berries and syrup to a pint glass and muddle until well combined. Add ice, juices, and Crater Lake Rare Aged Rum and shake vigorously until well chilled. Double strain into a Crater Lake rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with a lime wedge. ** To infuse blueberries: In an airtight tub, add one large container of blueberries and one 750ml bottle of Crater Lake Rare Aged Rum. Let sit in the fridge for 10 days. Drain Crater Lake Rare Aged Rum and save to use for future cocktails.

  • Chocolate Syrup to Drizzle
  • .25 oz Chocolate Sauce
  • .75 oz Orgeat
  • .75 oz Creme de Cacao
  • 1.5 oz Coconut Creme
  • 2.5 oz Crater Lake Rare Aged Rum
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass lined with chocolate drizzle.

The Tumalo Mojito

  • 8-10 Sprigs of Mint (Keep 2 Aside for Garnish)
  • Half of a Lime (Keep 1 Wedge for Garnish)
  • .25 - .5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2 oz Crater Lake Rare Aged Rum
  • Club Soda to Top Off
Add mint sprigs, half a lime cut into wedges, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Muddle until juices from the lime have been expressed and the mint is fragrant. Add in ice and rum. Shake vigorously until well combined. Double strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice, and top with club soda. Garnish with mint sprigs and a lime wedge.

Maya’s Mai Tai

  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz Mango juice
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 2 oz Crater Lake Spirits Rare Aged Rum
Add all ingredients into your shaker with ice and shake vigorously until ingredients are well combined. Pour contents into a rocks glass half rimmed with Rokz Citrus Jalapeño Salt. Garnish with a mini umbrella.
