Vodkas

Inspired by the purest water in the world, our vodkas are filtered at least ten times through charcoal and crushed lava rock for an exceptionally smooth finish.

True to tradition and place, our gins gets their crisp, pine-filled flavor from handpicked juniper berries that are native to our high desert roots.

From our 100% Straight American Rye and ready to drink Rock & Rye to the limited edition Black Butte Malt Whiskey, our whiskeys share a sense of history and place.

It was 1996, and all we wanted to do was live in the mountains and make great spirits. Over the years, that spark grew into a passion for making the best tasting spirits with the most natural ingredients available. Today, Crater Lake Spirits is one of Oregon’s oldest and largest distilleries serving up traditional spirits with spirited infusions.

Mint Julep

View Recipe

  • Mint Sprigs to Garnish
  • .5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 5-8 Mint Sprigs to muddle
  • 2 oz Crater Lake Reserve Rye Whiskey
First, muddle your simple syrup and mint in a rocks glass or any glass you'd like until the oils have been released from your mint sprigs. Then, add the ice and whiskey. Finally, garnish with your extra mint sprigs and you are ready to sip!

Burnin’ Passion

  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Lemon Juice
  • .75 oz Passion Fruit Syrup
  • .5 oz Crater Lake Reserve Vodka
  • 1.5 oz Crater Lake Hatch Green Chile Vodka
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until well combined. Strain over fresh ice into a rocks glass rimmed with jalapeño citrus salt, and enjoy!

Vodka Fairy

  • .5 oz Key Lime Sour - Pride Edition Yes! Cocktail Mixer
  • .75 oz Passion Fruit Syrup
  • 1.5 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Crater Lake Vodka
  • 1.5 oz Crater Lake Northwest Berry Vodka OR Crater Lake Sweet Ginger Vodka
Add ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously until well combined. Strain into a coupe glass or martini glass and enjoy!

Banana Berry Crush

  • Edible Flower to Garnish
  • Blackberry syrup (to drizzle and garnish)
  • 1 Very Ripe Banana
  • .5 oz Vanilla syrup
  • 1.5 oz Half & Half creamer
  • 1 oz Northwest Berry Vodka
  • 1 oz Crater Lake Vodka
In a cocktail shaker, muddle half of the banana into a paste. Add vodka, cream, vanilla syrup and ice. Shake vigorously until well combined. Double strain into a martini glass drizzled with blackberry syrup. Garnish with thin banana slices, edible flowers, and more blackberry syrup drizzle.

Blackberry Vodka Mojito

  • 8 Blackberries to Muddle
  • 6 Mint Leaves to Muddle
  • 1 oz Simple syrup
  • 2 oz Lime juice
  • 1.5 oz Crater Lake Vodka OR Crater Lake Reserve Vodka
  • Lemon Lime Soda to Top Off
Muddle berries and mint in a shaker, then add ice and remaining ingredients. Shake until cold, and double strain into a collins glass. Fill with ice, and top with a splash of lemon-lime soda. Garnish with a mint sprig.

Watermelon Kisses

  • Basil Sprig to Garnish
  • 4 Large Fresh Basil Leaves
  • 6 1-inch Cubes of Watermelon
  • .25 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz Crater Lake Reserve Vodka
Muddle watermelon and basil in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, and remaining ingredients. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Double strain into a rocks glass with ice, and garnish with a basil sprig.

Savory and Spicy Dirty Martini

  • 3 Olives Speared for Garnish
  • .25 oz Green Olive Brine
  • 2 Cilantro Stems (NO Leaves)
  • 2-3 Green Olives
  • 2-3 oz Crater Lake Hatch Green Chile Vodka (alternatively, 1.5 oz Hatch Green Chile Vodka and 1.5 oz Reserve Vodka to tone down heat)

Add olives, cilantro stems, and olive brine into a pint glass and muddle. Add ice and vodka. Shake vigorously or stir until well combined, and strain into chilled martini glass. Garnish with speared olives.

Cucumber Julep

  • Cucumber Peeled for Garnish
  • Mint Sprig to Garnish
  • 8-10 Mint Leaves (to muddle)
  •  1/4 cup Chopped Cucumber
  • .5 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz Crater Lake Vodka
Muddle mint leaves and cucumber in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, vodka, lime juice, and simple. Shake vigorously to combine, and double strain into a copper mug. Fill mug with crushed ice, and garnish with mint and cucumber.

Garden Party

  • 1 Lime Wedge to Garnish
  • 1 Cilantro Sprig for Garnish
  • .5 oz Blackberry Syrup
  • .75 oz Lime Juice
  • 1 oz YES! Cocktail Co. Cucumber Jalapeño Cocktail Mixer
  • 1 oz Crater Lake Hatch Green Chile Vodka
  • 1.5 oz Crater Lake Vodka
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well combined. Strain contents into a rocks glass with fresh ice and garnish with a lime wedge and cilantro sprig.

Piña Picante

  • .25 oz Lime Juice
  • .25 oz Simple Syrup
  • 2.5 oz. Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Crater Lake Vodka
  • 1.5 oz. Crater Lake Hatch Green Chile Vodka OR Crater Lake Pepper Vodka
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wedge. *Can also be served on the rocks.

Grapefruit Basil Martini

  • Lime Wedge to Garnish
  • .25 oz Lime Juice
  • 3 oz Grapefruit Juice
  • 2 oz Basil-Infused Crater Lake Prohibition Gin
Add ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime wedge. How to infuse Crater Lake Gin: Combine about 1/2 cup fresh basil and 1 bottle Crater Lake Gin. Allow to steep for about 24 hours. Strain and discard basil.

Ruby Red Back Alley

  • 2 Ruby Red Grapefruit Slices
  • .75 oz Vanilla Simple Syrup
  • 1.5 oz Lime Juice
  • 1.5 oz Hatch Green Chile Vodka
Muddle one grapefruit slice in the bottom of a pint glass, then top with ice and remaining ingredients. Strain into a chilled martini glass with a salted rim, and garnish with remaining grapefruit slice.
